Decleor 1000 Grain Body Exfoliator Review

Working next to the Decleor Counter, I am always the first to know when new products venture on the shelf's. I hadn't bought any Decleor products before but there are a few items I would love to try. I am trying to be a good girl and wait for some of my current beauty products to run out before I add anymore to my collection, And being a beauty blogger i'm sure you know how hard this is for me!

However one thing I did not own was a body exfoliator. Now with the summer season coming up its important to exfoliate.
As I have a few holidays booked I want to keep my skin fresh and exfoliated so I do not peel when I get a tan!
I also have some new fake tans I want to try out before my holidays and know rule number 1 is to exfoliate !

I must admit what drew me to this exfoliator was the smell. Its a beautiful fresh citrus which instantly reminded me of solero ice creams. This made me instantly want to use it and I also craved a solero ice cream ha.

Some exfoliators can feel really rough and scratchy on the skin but this is not the case with Decleor's 1000 grain. The Gel turns into an oil as you massage the product into the skin. This gives a really easy application and helps the product go further. When the gel then comes into contact with water it turns into a lovely milky solution which helps to remove the exfoliator quickly.

The packaging is staying true to Decleor's style keeping with the yellow simple but stylish theme.
However on the back of the main box are instructions on how to apply the exfoliator and get the full benefits from the product. I think this is great as I would never had applied it like this if there was no instructions.

The 1000 Grain Body Exfoliator costs £25 which is a little pricey but Decleor is a luxury brand. Also as you get 200ml and only need such a small amount to cover the body it should last you a few months.

Decleor sometimes offer free gifts with purchases so always keep an eye out for a good deal.

You can purchase this in some House Of Fraser stores or online at Decleor's Website.

Whats your favourite Decleor Product ?

YSL Rebel Nudes Glossy Stain 108

For a while now I have wanted to try some YSL products. They have a lovely range of makeup which i'm sure you already know ! I love the sophisticated designer packaging, and have heard the quality of the products are amazing! While having a look at my local counter in House Of Fraser, YSL had a little 30% off sale so I decided to buy this gorgeous lipgloss stain.

I really like the luxury packaging you receive with YSL products. They look very impressive in my makeup kit and really stand out. I love the little peep hole in this design revealing the colour of the gloss. This will also be handy to know how much gloss is left.

The applicator is larger than most lip glosses I am used to. However the gloss applies easily and I love how the applicator coats all the lips so quickly. The gloss also sticks to the applicator well so you don't have to dig around to scoop the gloss up which can be annoying !

I decided to go for shade 108 "Violine out of control". It is a beautiful sheer purpely gloss. It is quite sticky when you first apply the gloss but that soon subsides and feels smooth. There is a lovely subtle shimmer which looks very pretty and catches in the light. You can team this gloss with a vibrant lipstick for more of a statement look, however the gloss really does look lovely on its own.

Have you tried any of the YSL Rebel Nudes collection ?

Kiko Tropical Waterproof Eyeliner

If your anything like me and you cant wait for summer 2015, and want to rock some of this years vibrant makeup colours, then this is a post for you.

These beautiful liquid liners look gorgeous and really make your eyes standout. Another great quality about these tropical eye liners is that they are waterproof. This assures they do not smudge or run at all. They last all day without cracking or losing any of the bright pigmentation that you get from when you first apply.

Shade 02 - Caipirinha Lime

Shade 03 - River Turquoise

Shade 04 - Sugarloaf Blue
The applicator brush is really easy to use. The hairs on the brush all stay together neatly unlike some liquid liners I have bought before.

Kiko is such a brilliant makeup brand. As I have said before the products are a great quality without the price tag. If you would like to take a look at kikos products visit their website

Michael Kors Lip Lacquer Bombshell & Lip Luster Siren

On a recent trip to The Cosmetic Company Store I spotted these beautiful Michael Kors lip products.
I do love the Michael Kors brand but never knew they also produced makeup!
So you can only imagine the smile on my face when I came across these items. I decided to go for The lip lacquer in shade Bombshell and lip luster in shade Siren. They are both beautiful fuchsia pink shades. You can never go wrong with a fuchsia pink in my eyes, and as I didn't know much about the quality of the products I wanted to keep safe with a shade that I knew I would like.

The packaging has a very sophisticated edge. In my opinion its very glam and high-end. Im glad they have stuck with the Michael Kors style. I feel as soon as you look at this lipstick you can tell it has a Michael Kors esque about it. The only down side about the packaging itself is the finger prints. After each time the product is held I have to wipe over to remove my prints! However when you have wiped over and it looks brand new again. It really is a gorgeous design.

I love the Michael Kors engraving down the back of the lipstick. Its a nice added touch which makes the lipstick look more designer rather than high street.
Bombshell has a high coverage but with a sheer finish. It glides on evenly with very little effort. The shade is a beautiful raspberry fuchsia pink. I can see this shade working with any outfit and eye makeup.  This lipstick is very nourishing to the lips with added Vitamin E and Shea Butter. You can definitely feel how the lipstick smooths and moisturizes the lips as soon as you put it on.

The packaging for the Lip Lusters again is very sophisticated. I like with the lip lusters you can see the colour of the gloss with its transparent design. Again I can see the Michael Kors style shine through. However the lid also leaves the finger prints so you do need to give a little wipe after each application unless they don't bother you!

I really love this gloss. The shimmer is just enough to look pretty and sparkly without being over the top. In the picture above this is the gloss over the top of the lipstick. They pair perfectly together. I found when wearing the lipstick and gloss together it lasted alot longer than when worn individually. Both the lipstick and gloss on there own have a sheer to medium coverage. However paired together gives a full vibrant coverage. Again the lip luster has added vitamin E and Shea butter.

I really do like the lip luster and lip lacquer. I will definitely be looking into buying some more shades in the future. I would also like to try more of the Michael Kors beauty products.

If you would be interested in buying any of the products visit Michael Kors

Guerlain’s Little Black Dress aka La Petite Robe Noire Review

Recently I have been looking to try a new perfume. I wanted to have something different that smells like nothing I have worn before. I personally have been a creature of habit and always stuck to the same perfumes for as long as I can remember!

After testing out hundreds of fragrances I came across Guerlain’s Little Black Dress aka La Petite Robe Noire.

It is now my absolute favourite perfume which I have been wearing every day.
The beautiful smell of the little black dress lingers all day long so you’re guaranteed to smell lovely all day.

Although a strong fruity scent it also has quite a warm wintery essence, so you can wear it all year round.

To make this beautiful fragrance the main ingredients are Black Cherry, Black Rose, Patchouli and Black Tea. The Black Cherry really stands out amongst the other elements.
This is the reason The Little Black Dress stood out to me the most.

I also love the advertisement for the perfume. Its very catchy and is nice to see a perfume being advertised with a artistic animation, rather than using a famous model or actress like many other brands.

The design of the bottle looks very sophisticated with Guerlains script font. The bottle itself starts with a light rose pink fading in to a very dark black. Again I think this looks very mature and will be gorgeous on anyone's shelf.

So if your looking for a fruity sophisticated scent you can wear all year round then give The Little Black Dress a try.

for more information on the product and to view Guerlains other fragrances visit Guerlains website.
House of fraser are also doing an amazing boxset with the 50ml perfume and free Guerlain nail varnish worth £18!

Have you tried The Little Black Dress yet ?
